Information about Hotel Banks

Banks is an elegant art hotel located in a fashionable district less than 3 minutes’ walk from the Market Square. It features design rooms with luxury bedding and free drinks and tapas in the Lazy Lounge and Daytime Café. This hotel offers modern rooms with a flat-screen TV, seating area, and coffee and tea facilities. A mini fridge is available on request. Each morning a healthy breakfast is served at your table. This breakfast includes freshly-baked bread, a choice of meats and cheeses, boiled eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit juice and unlimited coffee and / or tea. The lounge offers a casual setting for a drink in front of the open fire. From Monday to Saturday, guests of Banks can enjoy a selection of free drinks and tapas in the lounge from 16:30 until 20:00. On Sundays the tapas are served from 16:30 until 17:45. A free bottle of water is provided in the guest rooms of the hotel. The Plantin-Moretus Museum is 100 metres from the hotel and the Groenplaats Square, with tram connections, is less than 5 minutes' walk away. Antwerp Central Railway Station is a 20-minute walk from Banks.

Guests staying the night of 31/12 to 1/1 can enjoy breakfast from 9.30am until 1pm, and can check out until 1.30pm without extra charges Please note that non-refundable bookings can be guaranteed by Visa and Mastercard credit cards only. Please note that guests will be charged the total amount of their stay upon check-in. The reception closes at 18:00 on Sundays. Guests planning to arrive later are kindly requested to contact the hotel. After closing time, guests can access the hotel with their key card via the night entrance. Please note that for group policies the hotel will contact you and that the following rules apply: Bookings of 3 or more rooms require a non-refundable deposit of 75 percent, charged on the credit card. For group bookings that are cancelled less than one month before date of arrival, the hotel will charge the total amount of the reservation. For bookings 3 rooms or more performed more than 3 months before the date of arrival, guests have an additional 24 hours after booking to cancel free of charge. If cancelled (in general) a 100 euro will be charged. After these 24 hours, the above conditions apply.
