Surrounded by the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park, Berghotel Malta is right by the shore of the Kölnbreinspeicher Reservoir. WiFi access is free of charge in public areas, and there is a sauna and an infrared cabin. All rooms at the Malta Berghotel feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The restaurant serves regional specialities. Located at the end of the Malta Valley, Berghotel Malta is a starting point for many hiking and mountain bike trails. Free private parking is available, and guests can use the toll road leading to the hotel free of charge. The Kölnbreinsperre is Austria’s highest dam and features an Airwalk and an exposition on the production of energy. With a minimum stay of 2 nights, the Kärnten Card is included in the price. This card provides free admission to over 100 sights in Carinthia.
