Split is by far the largest Dalmatian city and the second-largest city of Croatia. Spread over a central peninsula and its surroundings, Split''s greater area includes the surrounding seaside towns as well. An intraregional transport hub, the city is a link to numerous Adriatic islands and the Apennine peninsula, as well as a popular tourist destination.

Split is also one of the oldest cities in the area. While it is traditionally considered just over 1,700 years old counting from the construction of Diocletian''s Palace in AD 305, archaeological research relating to the original founding of the city as the Greek colony of Aspálathos in the 6th century BC, establishes the urban tradition of the area as being several centuries older.

Split Airport is also known as the Resnik Airport and is the third largest airport in Croatia.

Opatija is a town in western Croatia, just southwest of Rijeka on the Adriatic coast. The city is geographically on the Istrianpeninsula, though it is not in Istria county, but Primorje-Gorski Kotar county.

The whole sea-coast to the north and south of Opatija is rocky and picturesque, and contains several smaller winter resorts. There is a 12 km-long promenade along the entire riviera, the Lungomarefrom Volosko, via Opatija, to Lovran. After Dubrovnik, Opatija is form many years the second most popular place in the Adriatic for tourists.

Ičići - It is well known tourist resort on the Opatija Riviera, now nearly grown together with Opatija. It´s a small place located in the north-east part of Istria, Croatia (Europe). It is located under a mountain Učka, on the north part of the Adriatic Sea.

The town has a very large marina for big yachts, also in Icici there is situated a port for small boats. 

The town has about 800 residents who are mostly employed in the tourism industry. Most tourists came in Icici especially at summer. Icici is also well known because its car camping. Icici´s main tourist attraction remains its large beach, one of the most beautiful in the region and offering a variety of entertainment.
