City of Neumünster was founded in 1127 and is located in the center of the Land Schleswig-Holstein in the same district Neumünster.
AttractionsThe city has always been a transportation hub and the center of the German textile and leather industries. Museum of the Fabrics and of the Technology was opened in October 2007 with a new exhibition and in the new building. It shows the history of the textile industry in connection with the development of the city. In the city is a big shopping center.
