Horbruch is a municipality in the district Birkenfeld in the Federal Rhineland-Palatinate. Horbruch is located in the Hunsrück region northwest of the 746 m high mountain Idarkopf. In Idar-Oberstein is a railway station on the line Bingen-Saarbrücken. The village is north of Highway No. 50 and the airport Frankfurt-Hahn.
