Ellenz-Poltersdorf is a wine village in the district Cochem-Zell in Rhineland-Palatinate. Ellenz-Poltersdorf is an idyllic holiday and wine resort, located on one of the most beautiful places on the river Mosel. Around the town there are numerous vineyards and along both banks of the Mosel also large forests. SightsThe historic town hall was originally built in the 14th century after the great fire in 1634 was rebuilt in 1636. The town is dominated by the Protestant Church of St. Nicholas in the heart of the pedestrian zone. On the hill Langert stands 26 meters high tower Aalbäumle. Urban Observatory was built in 1969 as a school gymnasium Schubartovo Observatory. In Aalen was based a german football club VfR Aalen.
