Timmendorfer Strand is a municipality in the region Ostholstein in Schleswig-Holstein. The Timmendorfer Strand is located 15 kilometers north of Lübeck on the Baltic coast. Neighboring municipalities are Scharbeutz on the north, Ratekau and Lübeck on south-west, Travemünde district in the east.
