Dillingen on the Danube is a large county town and administrative headquarters of the district the same name Dillingen in the Bavarian administrative region Swabia. Dillingen is located in Northern Swabia, on the north bank of the Danube river in landscape Donauried.

Great art-historical significance has the church of St. Vitus (ordained on the October the 3rd, 1233), which dominates the city.
