Location

Dessau-Rosslau is a district town in the German federal country of Saxony-Anhalt, in the same district Dessau-Rosslau. Dessau-Rosslau is located in a large water meadow of the River Elbe and Mulde, which flows into the River Elbe.

Dessau-Rosslau is on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will find the castle and park Mosigkau, and Kühnauer Grosskühnau Castle Park, Castle Georgium Georgengarten Wallwitzburg and garden, castle and park Luisium, Zoo Dessau in Mausoleumspark, City Museum Dessau, Anhalt Regional Library, Church of the Virgin Mary, the parish church of St. Peter and Paul, built in 1854-58, water castle from the 12th century in the Rosslau Anhalt and Drama Theatre, with music (opera, operetta, musicals), ballet, concerts (Anhalt Philharmonic), puppet theater and cinema.
